March to May 2020 – Brussels (Bruxelles) Belgium

Rather unbelievably, I didn’t take a single picture with my full-frame camera in Brussels, so there won’t be a photo gallery for this stop. Also, since the COVID-19 restrictive measures (lockdown) were in place from the day after I arrived, the cost breakdown below isn’t quite in line with previous. As unfortunate as all this is, I still want to include this to keep tracking as I go.

Back in January, before this flippin virus situation, I spent a lot of time preparing an itinerary for just about the entire year. Of course, pretty much all of that has been canceled now, so I’m thinking it’s a great opportunity to start being a bit more spontaneous, and slow things down. The hope is it’ll help me to find lesser-known but still amazing places and get to know them better. Well, it seems like a good way to put a positive spin on an unfortunate situation anyway; we’ll see how it all works out. I don’t know how this will affect my YouTube videos, but I’ll keep working on them. They’re pretty fun to make (sometimes trying), but the best part is making them pushes me to do and experience more. I didn’t set out to travel continuously just lounging around, though I hope to do a little of that, I just want my work to be more personally fulfilling and creative. I hope you’re enjoying it so far and follow along in the future.

Let me know if you have any questions; I look forward to sharing my experience with you all.
