Well, this was a unique stop. With Brussels still coming out of lockdown, and me itching to get moving, I found that I could make it to Athens, so I jumped at the chance. Of course, there were some requirements to do so. See the “May 15, 2020, Flight from Brussels to Athens” video below for more information on that. While you’re there, if you like these videos and want to see more, please like and subscribe to help support my travels and see where this all leads. With my itinerary cleared, I’ll now be taking it one step at a time for the foreseeable future, so who knows where I may end up next!
As always, let me know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions; I look forward to sharing my experience with you all.
I hope everyone is doing well out there; take care!
Costs for this stop…
This was a 28-night stay…
- Accommodation – $1,040.53
- Getting around locally – $34.20
- Living expenses, including any day trips (groceries and eating out) – $349.73
- Mobile phones (I’m carrying a US line and an Italian line.) – $41.42
- SafetyWing Insurance – $59.76
______________________________________________________________________________
- Total $1,525.64 / 28 nights = $54.49 per
As usual; transportation can be a big expense and I feel that would vary too much so I’ve left it out, along with any incidental/one time costs… please, let me know what you think. I really appreciate your feedback!
*Some costs are approximate as I converted local currency to USD after the trip so there will be a slight variation from the real-time conversion.
